Marc’s extensive experience in public relations and journalism has proven valuable in implementing business-generating public relations programs across financial services, real estate, healthcare, technology, and non-profit sectors.

Prior to Ascent, Marc served as CEO and co-founder of Spotlight Financial Marketing, a New York-based public relations agency specializing in PR and marketing programs for financial services and technology companies.

He also held senior-level positions at Edelman Worldwide, Rubenstein Public Relations, Spring, O’Brien, and Intermarket Communications.

Earlier, Marc was an award-winning journalist who worked for various daily newspapers, business publications, and global financial news wire services in Chicago and Kansas City. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in journalism from Ohio University.
